Caddo Career & Technology Center was awarded a $25,000 Community Service/Campus Improvement Grant from Lowe’s and SkillsUSA. Lowe’s and SkillsUSA has partnered to award grants that will help to further educate and empower young people who will become the contractors, industry leaders and community volunteers of the future. The grant will be used to place benches in the front of the school at the bus ramp to provide seating for students waiting for the bus, re-level the brick pathway in the quadrangle and add a “Walk of CCTC Scholarship recipients” that has 659 engraved bricks with the names of the CCTC Scholarship recipients, and makeover an area for students to relax and visit.
