Course Overview

Gain insight into the field of education, working with children, and the teaching profession. Examine such topics as the foundations, history, and landmark legal cases of education, working with exceptional learners, child development theories, learning styles, and more!  Students gain real-world classroom teaching experience including student teaching internships in Caddo Parish elementary, middle, and high schools. Additionally, nine Dual Enrollment credit hours are offered to students in this program through LSUS.
