Cooperative Education

Course Overview
Cooperative Education is designed to promote employability skills and professionalism in students through work-based learning. This class combines classroom-based instruction and on-the-job training to help students prepare for or explore their occupational objectives.
The classroom curriculum revolves around the twelve core competencies that are essential for success in any professional environment. Those competencies are:

During the fall of 2025, one of our students undertook an internship at Mudbugs while another was placed at The Highland Center. These students have been able to gain comprehensive exposure to all aspects of these businesses, ranging from customer-facing services to back-office operations.
